About Alpine Lodge 208
A brotherhood built on faith, integrity, and service to the communities of Clover, Lake Wylie, and all of South Carolina.
Our History
Rooted in Tradition
Alpine Lodge No. 208 Ancient Free Masons has served the Clover, South Carolina community for generations. Chartered under the Grand Lodge of Ancient Free Masons of South Carolina, our lodge has been a cornerstone of brotherhood, charity, and moral instruction in York County. Through the years, our members have included farmers, tradesmen, professionals, and civic leaders — united by a shared commitment to making good men better.
We meet on the third Thursday of each month at our lodge hall on 502 N Main Street in Clover. Our doors are open to all men of good character who seek light, truth, and fellowship.

What We Stand For
The Tenets of Freemasonry
Brotherly Love
We regard the whole human species as one family. Every Mason is bound to relieve the distress and promote the welfare of his brethren.
Relief
Charity is a duty. We support our brethren, their families, and the broader community through acts of benevolence and service.
Truth
We pursue moral and intellectual truth, striving to be men of integrity in all our dealings — in the lodge and in daily life.
Faith
Freemasonry teaches a reverence for the Supreme Being and encourages each Mason to practice the faith of his own choosing.
Integrity
A Mason's word is his bond. We hold ourselves to the highest standards of honesty, honor, and personal conduct.
Service
We are committed to the betterment of our community — through scholarship, charity drives, and civic engagement.
